The
Facade Retaining System is as a low cost, structurally
designed post in pier and folded mesh retaining panel
system which is covered with a reinforced waterproof
membrane and backfilled.
The Facade Retaining System can be:
constructed and left as a freestanding retaining
wall system, with the landscaping in front of the
wall as an option;
Used as the structural element of a retaining wall
system with the inclusion of facade panel/product
to the front of the wall such as masonry blocks, panels
or timber.
The Facade Retaining Wall System has been designed
for ease of installation. All components are manageable
by hand.
Design Guidelines:
The wall is a structurally engineered retaining
wall system that has been designed in accordance with
the guidelines of the Building Code of Australia and
the relevant Australian Standards.
Within the current design parameters, the wall can
be constructed in 300mm increments, up to 1800mm high.

The BRAACE™ Retaining Wall System can be designed
to accommodate:
1. The inclusion of boundary fences/ noise barriers;
2. Additional subjected surcharge loads;
3. Retaining Heights over 1.8m high.
The BRAACE™ Retaining Wall System
The BRAACE™ Retaining Wall System is as a low
cost, structural and aesthetically pleasing masonry
retaining wall system that has been developed for use
as an alternative to traditional masonry retaining walls.
The system is a post in pier structure supporting a
designed mesh retaining panel which is covered with
a reinforced waterproof membrane and backfilled.
The CSR Hebel lightweight AAC panel is used as the
facade to the galvanised steel post and mesh retaining
system. The AAC panel is light weight, easily managed
and provides the perfect substrate for a range of finishes.
